Basic Obedience

Basic obedience is for puppies and dogs with little to no previous training and need help with basic problem behaviors.

Commands: sit, down, recall, leave-it, drop-it, wait, stay, focus, place, leash manners, and manners people and other animals.

Help with: jumping, counter surfing, barking, puppy biting, crate training, potty training, leash pulling and more.

Training includes preparation for taking the Canine Good Citizen Test.

Advanced Obedience

Advanced obedience is for dogs who have a solid foundation started. Focus is on proofing commands in high distraction, and fading out training aids.

Advanced obedience is for real life application. Reliability in commands without treats or other training aids. Training in new environments, increased distractions and intentionally setting up temptations for the dog (toys/food on the ground, people talking to them, other dogs playing, door bell, etc.)

Other advanced obedience options include off leash work, advanced tricks, or rally obedience.

Behavior Modification

Behavior modification for dogs with moderate to severe behavioral issues such as: leash reactivity/aggression, resource guarding, fearful or anxious, and problems in a multidog household.

Behavior modification is for problem behaviors that have escalated and become ingrained, not just nuisance puppy behaviors. Behaviors that can become/are dangerous, impede on your dogs' quality of life and limit what you can do with your dog.

It is different than obedience training. Behavior modification focuses on getting to the root of the behavioral issue and rewiring how the dog perceives and interacts with the world.

Basic and advanced obedience training is included.
